Anyone who wants the Sixers to trade for Toronto Raptors forward Pascal Siakam got bad news Friday from Yahoo Sports’ Jake Fischer.
According to Fischer, “the chatter among NBA executives surrounding Siakam’s potential landing spots has now centered on Indiana, Sacramento and Detroit.” Meanwhile, he highlighted the Sixers and Dallas Mavericks as two teams that “don’t appear as viable destinations at this juncture,” although he noted that “Toronto officials have suggested to inquiring front offices as many as 10 teams hold legitimate interest in Siakam.”
Later in the day, longtime NBA insider Marc Stein likewise shot down the Sixers as a potential Siakam landing spot.
