Report: ‘Pacers to file complaint’ to NBA for 78 calls over Games 1 & 2 vs. Knicks

Well, well, well.

The Philadelphia 76ers organization felt they were significantly disadvantaged during the first two games of their first-round series vs. the New York Knicks. Daryl Morey’s front office officially filed a grievance (but not a protest) with the league office. And now they’re not alone.

As Joel Embiid put it, when his teammate Tyrese Maxey was fouled more than once on the pivotal play of Game 2 of round one: “That’s fucking unacceptable, to lose a game like that, especially in the playoffs.”

And now, according to one of ESPN’s top NBA Insider’s, Brian Windhorst, the Indiana Pacers feel similarly disadvantaged after two games at “The Mecca.
