Report: Kings trading 3 to Sixers in salary-dumping move

The Sacramento Kings plan to trade forwards Jason Thompson and Carl Landry to the 76ers in a salary-dumping move, Yahoo Sports reported Wednesday night, citing league sources.

The Kings would include guard Nik Stauskus in the deal, according to the website. Yahoo reported that the Sixers would send the rights of overseas players to Sacramento, although it is unclear which ones.

Thompson, a Camden native who played at Rider, averaged 6.1 points and 6.5 rebounds last season. Landry averaged 7.2 points and 3.8 boards. Stauskus, 21, saw limited playing time, averaging 4.4 points.
