Recent 76ers injury wave opens door that multiple players can’t ignore

The Philadelphia 76ers are entering the week shorthanded as Joel Embiid (knee), Kelly Oubre Jr. (knee) and Adem Bona (ankle) are sidelined for their game against the Los Angeles Clippers at 7 p.m. EST. Philadelphia plays twice after tonight and it remains to be seen if the trio returns.

The 76ers’ deficiencies could serve as an opportunity for Justin Edwards, Dominick Barlow and Johni Broome to cement their respective places in the rotation. Each player has experienced an orthodox start to the season and Philadelphia's upcoming slate of games may provide them stability.

Edwards has to keep it up

Justin Edwards reawakened in the 76ers’ win against the Boston Celtics on November 11th after averaging four points in his first nine games.
