Recap: Sixers blow past Wizards

After the Sixers had built a 21-point second quarter lead, that old familiar feeling started creeping back in the Wells Fargo Center, as the Wizards ripped off a 12-0 run to cut the deficit down to single digits with 3:34 remaining in the half. The Sixers, however, responded in brilliant fashion and by the time the first half came to close, the score was 68-46 in favor of the Sixers.

For the second straight game, the Sixers coasted to an easy victory, defeating the Wizards 123-98. The game was well in hand by the midway point of the third quarter, and Brett Brown was able to get his stars some much needed rest - Joel Embiid played only 22 minutes (and still managed to be a +30), while Jimmy Butler and Ben Simmons both only playing 25 minutes.
