The Philadelphia 76ers and NBC Sports Philly had big shoes to fill with the departure of legendary play-by-play man Marc Zumoff.
After spending months looking for his replacement, history was made when it was announced NBC Sports had decided on Kate Scott, who became just the second female to be hired as a full-time TV play-by-play announcer in any of the major sports.
Scott has over 16 years of experience in the industry and most recently covered the Golden State Warriors for the radio station KNBR in San Francisco, on top of her college football duties.
