CAMDEN — Earth Day was marked in Camden City on Friday by 200 Philadelphia 76ers and Virtua Health System employees painting murals and sprucing up the Boys and Girls Club of Camden County.

The effort, as part of the two organizations' annual "Project 76" day of service, included a pep rally featuring Sixers' legend World B. Free and performances by the Sixers Phlight Squad, Dance Team and mascot Franklin.

As the Sixers are readying for a move to Camden City for its state-of-the-art training facility, the team chose the Boys and Girls Club location in the city as the recipient of this year's effort.
