Philadelphia 76ers: Landry Shamet deserves consistent minutes in second unit

After a summer of “how can the Philadelphia 76ers replace Marco Belinelli?” questions, we might finally have our answer. Landry Shamet is building on a strong preseason, notching 12 points on 4/7 three-point shooting in the Sixers’ Thursday night win over the Chicago Bulls.

The reigning 26th overall pick spent 29 minutes on the court, playing important stretches next to Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid. That won’t be the case every night — garbage time played a role — but he’s locked into Brett Brown’s rotation nonetheless.
