The Philadelphia 76ers lost former assistant coach Monty Williams as Williams became the head coach of the Phoenix Suns. They have a hole on the bench that needs to be filled this summer. According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the franchise will be interviewing a potential candidate.
Avery Johnson is interviewing for a job on Brett Brown’s staff with the 76ers, league sources tell ESPN. Johnson has previously been a head coach with Alabama, the Nets and Mavericks.
