The Philadelphia 76ers already have high expectations entering this season. The core of Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid are expected to take the next step in their development. The front office made some strong moves this summer by improving the bench and re-signing Tobias Harris. They also acquired Al Horford and Josh Richardson this offseason which puts a lot of pressure on this team to win big now.
There’s no doubt that this team has elite talent, especially in a weakened Eastern Conference. At minimum, getting to the conference finals is expected from this club, however head coach Brett Brown increased expectations for the franchise and himself to win a title.
