Recently, the Philadelphia 76ers played their first preseason game against the Guangzhou Long-Lions of the Chinese Basketball Association. It was the first time that the Sixers new starting five played together and fans got to see rookie Matisse Thybulle in game action and not just a scrimage. However, something much more magical happened in the second quarter that just has to be seen.
That’s right, Ben Simmons made his first NBA 3-pointer! While his form wasn’t perfect, it was more than usable and the shot itself was solid. Simmons ended the contest with 21 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.
