For basically his entire career, Ben Simmons hasn’t been known as a shooter. Philadelphia 76ers fans has seen flashes of Simmons attempting outsides shots in the past, most recently in the preseason against the Guangzhou Long-Lions from the Chinese Basketball Association. However, it finally happened against the New York Knicks, Simmons attempted and made a 3-pointer.
The best part of this is that the shot came in the flow of the offense. It wasn’t at the end of a quarter, half or game. He spotted up in the corner and when the ball came to him there was no hesitation in his release.
