Just hours before the NBA All-Star Game, Philadelphia 76ers Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid were ruled out due to Covid contact tracing concerns.
What Happened?
The exposure’s initial cause was due to a haircut that took place before the pair left Philadelphia. The barber who cut the two all-stars’ hair tested positive for Covid and was re-tested this morning to confirm that he had the virus.
Doc Rivers mentioned in his zoom availability he first got wind of their potential to be ruled out last night and had been on and off the phone with the NBA all morning.
