The 22-year-old Volunteer became a household name this year, thanks to his scoring and knack for making winning plays. Schofield is the son of a retired Senior Chief in the U.S. Navy and the brother of a Super Bowl champion. He wasn’t a blue-chip recruit who became the man as soon as he stepped on campus.
Schofield ended his freshman season with 7.5 points and 4.0 rebounds in just over 18 minutes per game and shot 30 percent from deep. This past season, he finished his final year at UT with 16.
