Move over Al Horford and Matt Geiger, there's a new contender for the title of worst signing in Philadelphia 76ers history!
During last summer's free agency period, Daryl Morey and company opted to shell out a fully guaranteed four-year, $211.6 million contract to All-Star wing Paul George, a move that led many to believe the Sixers would legitimately leap into full-blown title contender status.
Fast forward to just over a year later, however, and the signing seems to have led to far more pain than pride for Philadelphia fans. The ball club wrapped up the 2024-25 season with the fifth-worst record in the league (24-58) while their Big Three of Joel Embiid, George, and Tyrese Maxey played just 15 games alongside one another due to myriad injuries.
