Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame will celebrate with a host of events to welcome their Class of 2018.
Former 76ers' PG Maurice Cheeks will be enshrined after a lifetime dedicated to the game of basketball. He has totals of 11.1 PPG, 6.7 APG, 2.1 SPG in 1,101 NBA games. He was elected into the Hall of Fame by the North American committee.
The 1983 NBA champion was a 4-time NBA All-Star, 5-time NBA All-Defensive Team, and he ranks fifth in the all time NBA record for steals, with 2,310 career swipes, trailing only John Stockton, Jason Kidd, Michael Jordan and Gary Payton.
