GALLOWAY, N.J. – Jahlil Okafor, Joel Embiid and Gerald Henderson were held out of the 76ers Thursday morning scrimmage due to "load management." Jerryd Bayless also did not participate at Stockton University because of a sore left wrist.
Okafor is coming off season-ending surgery on March 22 to repair the meniscus in his right knee. He felt soreness in that knee on Wednesday. Embiid missed the past two seasons due to surgeries in the right foot. The Sixers are trying to be cautious with both players.
Gerald Henderson sat out the scrimmage in order to rest.
