ATLANTA - Nerlens Noel wore protective goggles during Wednesday morning's shootaround at Philips Arena. The power forward will miss his second straight with a left-eye abrasion when the 76ers face the Atlanta Hawks at 8 p.m.
He's listed day-to-day, but wants to return to action against the New York Knicks Friday night at Wells Fargo Center.
"I think I should be good by Friday with the day-to-day progress I have been making," Noel said after shootaround.
The 6-foot-11, 223-pounder has been taking a lot of eyes drops.
"I feel alright," he said. "It's just a little blurred vision that has been getting better.
