Nicolas Batum remains out for Sixers’ matchup vs. Raptors

The Sixers are coming off their best win of the season on Wednesday. Joel Embiid dominated yet again with 51 points, Tyrese Maxey scored 35, and the Sixers earned a comfortable 127-113 win against the Timberwolves, who own the best record in the Western Conference and the league’s top defense.

The Sixers were shorthanded on the wing, though, as Nicolas Batum was out with a right hamstring strain. He remains listed as out for Friday’s game against the Raptors, likely leaving Kelly Oubre Jr. to continue starting in Batum’s place.

De’Anthony Melton only played 16 minutes against the Timberwolves after leaving the game early with a left thigh contusion.
