Nemanja Bjelica agrees to 1-year, $4.4M deal with 76ers

Free agent forward Nemanja Bjelica has agreed to a one-year, $4.4 million deal with the Philadelphia 76ers, league sources told ESPN.

Bjelica, 30, spent the past three seasons with the Timberwolves, who recently rescinded his qualifying offer to make him an unrestricted free agent.

The Sixers will use their room mid-level exception to sign him.

Bjelica will fit into stretch forward role of Ersan Ilyasova, who left the Sixers in free agency for the Milwaukee Bucks. He shot 41.5 percent on three-pointers, averaging 6.8 points.

Philadelphia closed deals on three one-year contracts this week, including the bringing back to guard JJ Redick and forward Amir Johnson, ESPN reported.
