After the draft, head coach and interim president of basketball operations Brett Brown used the term “star hunting” in reference to a first round trade the Philadelphia 76ers made. It’s clear under Brown’s leadership the Sixers are looking to add a fortified star to the roster this offseason. Two viable options for the club are possible free agent LeBron James and disgruntled San Antonio Spurs star Kawhi Leonard.
James has a player option that he could decline to become a free agent. James just went to his eighth straight NBA Finals and is up their with Michael Jordan as one of the greatest to ever play the game.
