Joel Embiid has been medically cleared and is available to play Tuesday evening against the Golden State Warriors, per Serena Winters of NBC Sports Philadelphia.
Embiid was upgraded to questionable Monday afternoon after missing the Sixers’ last 9 games. Now, it’s sounding like he’s going to suit up tonight, just 18 days after having surgery on a torn ligament in the ring finger on his left hand.
This is wonderful news for the Sixers, who have a tough schedule stretch heading into the All-Star Weekend, including games against the Los Angeles Clippers, Boston Celtics, Milwaukee Bucks, and Miami Heat.
