JJ Redick will not play vs. Sacramento Kings

JJ Redick has been ruled out for tonight’s Sixers game against the Sacramento Kings, according to Serena Winters of NBC Sports Philadelphia:

As Serena Winters notes, Redick is not playing simply for the purposes of resting, so there is no injury concern.

Earlier today, Shams Charania of The Athletic reported that Wilson Chandler will miss 2-3 weeks with a right quadriceps strain, so the Sixers will certainly be short-handed this evening. With two starters absent, it will be interesting to see who Brett Brown chooses to begin the game.
