There has been some concern about the long-term prognosis of Sixers rookie center Joel Embiid after undergoing surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee last month, but Sixers special advisor Jerry Colangelo is optimistic about Embiid's post-surgery prognosis.
"Fortunately the news about his recent surgery on his knee," Colangelo said during an appearance on SiriusXM Radio. "It was much more minor than it could've been. And so, you know, the anticipation is that he will go through the normal healing process and we're hopeful that he will be at full bore going into next year's training camp.
