ESPN reporter gives depressing Paul George-Sixers update

The Philadelphia Sixers need Paul George to have a comeback season for the ages in 2025-26, but it's already started on the wrong foot (or knee). ESPN NBA insider Shams Charania reported two weeks ago that the 35-year-old had an arthroscopic procedure on his left knee after he got injured during a workout. He'll be re-evaluated before training camp.

It is likely that George will miss the Sixers' season opener for the second consecutive year, which isn't what the team had in mind when they signed him to a four-year deal last summer in free agency.
