Embiid drops 42 in three quarters, Sixers crush Hornets for sixth straight win

What a week this has been for the point differential.

The Sixers made it six wins in a row Saturday night, cruising past a shorthanded Charlotte Hornets squad 135-82. One hundred and thirty-five to eighty-two.

That’s the third-largest win in franchise history.

Joel Embiid continued to put up video game numbers and got yet another fourth quarter off. Tonight he went for 42 points, shooting 18-of-23 from the field, along with 15 rebounds and two blocks.

Tyrese Maxey, who also sat out the fourth, put up 21 points shooting 8-of-13 from the floor.

Here are some thoughts at the buzzer.
