Dion Waiters: 'I'm not going to get over' brother's death

South Philadelphia native Dion Waiters will be back in his hometown Friday night when he and the Oklahoma City Thunder play the 76ers at the Wells Fargo Center.

For Waiters, it will be a much-needed positive reason for him to be here. His last visit came after his brother, Demetrius Pinckney, was fatally shot in the head earlier this month in the wake of an argument and dirt bike chase near the 2300 block of Morris Street.

Waiters missed four games after taking personal leave from the Thunder. He rejoined the team on Monday, and on Wednesday was back on the court as his team played the Celtics in Boston.
