A little bit before 2 PM ET, news broke from the Sixers organization regarding the health of their All-Star point guard: Ben Simmons. Needless to say, it wasn’t exactly what Philly fans wanted to hear.
Simmons has already missed the last two and a half weeks with his nerve impingement, and this recent update doesn’t necessarily sound like he’ll be back anytime soon. A “reevaluation” in three weeks doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll actually be healthy in three weeks.
The Sixers are in the midst of a tight battle for seeding in the eastern conference, and could desperately use Simmons back.
