On Friday night, the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame held its induction ceremony. The highlight for Sixers’ fans was former defensive maven Mo Cheeks’ induction speech, in which he shouts out Sixers legends like Dr. J, Andrew Toney and Moses Malone:

Cheeks’ speech projects a gracious and humble man, and the way in which he spoke of his mother’s influence was heartwarming. It’s delightful to see such a deserving person be recognized for his contributions to the sport.
