Al Horford donates $500,000 to COVID-19 relief in Dominican Republic, U.S. regions he’s played in

Philadelphia 76ers big man Al Horford is doing his bit to help with the coronavirus pandemic.

According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, Horford is donating $500,000 to his home country of the Dominican Republic and every region in the United States where he’s played basketball.

This includes Michigan where he went to Grand Ledge High School, Florida where he attended college for three years, and everywhere he’s played since entering the NBA, including Atlanta, Boston and Philadelphia.
