The Philadelphia 76ers have every reason to try to be opportunistic. Their salary books are muddled with booming salaries, and the new CBA basically requires them to get a lot more creative when it comes to building the roster, lest they would be forced to let go of some highly desirable commodities just to put out a viable roster.
As such, the front office should put a strong emphasis on finding young talents, even if that means dangling away some of their own. One name worth monitoring in this regard is Zaccharie Risacher, last year’s first overall pick in the draft, who suddenly finds himself having one foot out of the door with his current ball club.
