Part and parcel of what makes the Philadelphia 76ers the most unpredictable team in the league entering the 2025-26 season is the fact that literally no one has a clear idea on the status of their best player, Joel Embiid. But now, it seems like pressing concerns about his immediately availability should perhaps relax a bit.
Not a lot of people (us included) are expecting Embiid to be in uniform for most of the games slated for next season, especially after he appeared in just 19 outings last season, and only in 39 contests in the campaign preceding that.
