2017 Sixers draft pick Anzejs Pasecniks agrees to deal with Wizards

Anzejs Pasecniks, who was drafted by 25th overall by the Sixers in the 2017 NBA Draft (technically he was drafted by the Orlando Magic and then traded to Philly) but never played a single game for the franchise, has signed an Exhibit-10 deal with the Washington Wizards, according to Fred Katz of The Athletic:

Wizards have agreed to a deal with Latvian 7-footer Anzejs Pasecniks, sources tell The Athletic. The 23-year-old played for Washington’s summer league team in July. 76ers drafted him 25th in 2017.

I didn’t understand Bryan Colangelo’s first round selection of Pasecniks at the time, it makes even less sense in hindsight, and I’ve yet to see very much indication that he’s an NBA talent.
