The torch is lit, the crowd is roaring, the U.S. Women’s Volleyball team is ahead and the gold medal is secured.
This was the scene for Class of 2012 Pepperdine alumna Kimberly Hill when she won an Olympic gold medal with the U.S. Women’s Volleyball team in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, which took place in the summer of 2021 due to COVID-19.
