Winter weather can give Penn State an advantage in Pinstripe Bowl

Penn State football and Clemson face off in the Pinstripe Bowl on Saturday, Dec. 27. The Nittany Lions aren't new to Yankee Stadium, but the updated weather conditions for Saturday's game are.

The last time Penn State played in this bowl game was 2014 and the temperature then didn't drop below 50 degrees. Against the Tigers, the teams will play in a winer storm warning with temperatures dropping into the teens and elevating to only 33 degrees.

The Bronx, N.Y. is in the winter storm warning from 4 p.m. Friday through 1 p.m. Saturday. There is a 55 percent chance of snow on Saturday with freezing drizzle also possible.
