Why did Aeneas Hawkins delay his decision? An old face to PSU played a big role

When Aeneas Hawkins left Penn State and just days later delayed his college commitment from May until sometime down the road back in March, it was clear that he wanted to check out his options more.

It was not only the Lions that he wanted to see more of, either.

The 6-foot-3, 265-pound defensive tackle from Cincinnati, Ohio is a four-star Class of 2018 prospect with 34 offers to date from programs ranging from the Lions and Buckeyes to Michigan, Notre Dame, and many other headliner programs. So while May 10, his original set date, made sense at one point, it didn't after he did some further exploring.
