LAKE FOREST, Ill. — The mystery of Chicago Bears tight end Dion Sims and his illness only grew on Thursday.
Sims missed all of the bye week and did not practice last week with what is being termed an "illness." The Bears' top tight end also has now missed both of the Bears' practices this week, and head coach John Fox cites privacy laws about how much he could disclose about it.
"You're dealing with an illness, and in some way, shape or form there [are] laws against that and there's laws about it," Fox said. "I mean, I'm not being evasive, but I kind of am.
