For years, we’ve counted down the days until Penn State’s first game of the season together. We feared this year might be different as the uncertainty lingers and the world has been thrown into chaos during the COVID-19 pandemic. But, as we approach the 100 days mark of Penn State’s first scheduled game of the season against Kent State on September 5th, it seems clear that those behind the scenes are doing everything in their power to make sure college football will be played this Fall.
A big step forward was taken last week, as Kent State announced plans to return to in-person classes and open up the residence halls this summer, signaling that their football program should be ready for the trip to Beaver Stadium on Week One.
