Penn State is on a hot streak after upsetting No. 1 seed Princeton last Saturday. The blue and white escaped without a single set loss in three sweeps to win the EIVA Tournament.
Before their match with Princeton, the Nittany Lions faced off against Harvard and NJIT. Outside hitter Will Kuhns led Penn State to a pair of sweeps behind crucial kills.
Despite entering as the lower seed, Penn State didn’t let up against Princeton. The blue and white split its series against the Tigers on April 19, which set up a competitive championship matchup.
The championship match included a separation of no more than six points in each set.
