After opening the season with four consecutive home wins at Rec Hall, the Lady Lions struggled in each of their first two contests at the Bryce Jordan Center.
Penn State fell short in its return on Saturday, losing to Nebraska 101-83, before falling to Arizona State 74-60 on Tuesday night.
The common theme in each of the losses? An exorbitant amount of turnovers.
“Obviously we can’t turn the ball over like we’ve been doing,” coach Carolyn Kieger said on Saturday, following the matchup with Nebraska. “Our guards have to be smarter, we have to be tougher with the basketball.
