Penn State head coach James Franklin has decided which players will represent the Nittany Lions along with him at Big Ten Media Days.
Linebacker Jason Cabinda, tight end Mike Gesicki, and safety Marcus Allen were selected as the senior trio set to speak to the media and enjoy the conference's annual kickoff luncheon over a two-day stretch, July 24-25, in Chicago, Ill., where the Big Ten is headquartered.
Each year, for years, two or three seniors are selected to attend. The picked players generally are considered leaders on and off the field and also among the most notable Lions, though, and these three fit that mold.
