Penn State quarterback Trace McSorley experienced some ups and downs Saturday, but he still led the North to its first scoring drive in his team’s 34-24 win over the South in the Senior Bowl.
McSorley finished 7-of-13 passing for 59 yards and rushed once for 8 yards. He played nearly the entirety of the second quarter, leading the North on a 16-play, 77-yard drive that resulted in a field goal to cut the North’s deficit to 9-3.
