The next Penn State men’s soccer coach: 8 candidates to replace Bob Warming

Related Topics: Bob Warming, Paul Snape

For the first time since 2009, a new coach will lead Penn State men’s soccer out to the pitch at Jeffrey Field next fall after Bob Warming retired early Thursday morning.

With 461 wins and 28 conference championships spanning over 40 years, few coaches have been more successful than Warming, who ranks No. 8 all-time in wins. Warming built the Nittany Lions back into a national contender upon arriving in 2010, winning two Big Ten titles and earning two Sweet 16 appearances, but the past three seasons the blue and white have gone 20-26-7 and won just two Big Ten games this year.
