The 2015-16 hockey season begins this weekend. On Saturday the team will convene for the first practice of the season and on Sunday it will host Windsor at noon for an exhibition game. The regular season begins with a single game the following Saturday, October 10th on the road in Buffalo versus Canisius.
The team held media day last week. The biggest information out of the event was the disclosure that Eric Scheid is injured. Coach Gadowsky, in true form, had nothing to say about the injury other than "lower-leg, six weeks." When asked on a follow-up if he could provide any other information on the injury, Gadowsky replied, "No.
