UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State tight end Adam Breneman’s availability for this season is up in the air.
James Franklin, who will not discuss injuries, was asked why the redshirt sophomore tight end, who missed last season with a left knee injury, was left off the team’s Week 1 depth chart released this afternoon.
“He's got some challenges that he needs to overcome on the football field,” Franklin said today at his weekly news conference. “And as you guys know, you usually don't get into these types of things. I think it's Adam's business. I think it's Adam's family's business.
