Softball
The softball team took the first two games of its weekend series with Michigan State (10-0, 6-3) before dropping the third game (6-2). Bridget Nemeth was sensational in Game 1, recording a shutout. Kaitlyn Morrison also hit her first career grand slam to set the tone for the offense.
The Lions suffered a two-game midweek sweep at the hands of Ohio State. Penn State fell behind by as many as 11 runs in Game 1, and despite the bats waking up later on, a rally fell far short in a 16-8 loss.
