'Sky's the limit' for Missouri's Blanton

COLUMBIA — Paul Adams jokingly told his roommate Kendall Blanton that if he doesn't watch the late-night protein shakes, the 268-pound redshirt junior tight end would soon forfeit his route-running privileges and join him full time on the offensive line.

If Blanton keeps making one-handed touchdown catches on the run like he did in Missouri's loss to Middle Tennessee State on Homecoming last fall, though, that won't be happening anytime soon.

"The sky’s the limit for him," Adams said of Blanton after Day 3 of fall practice. "We talk about it all the time. He wants to do the most that any tight end has ever done here, and I think he can.
