Guard Jalen Pickett drove into the paint and scored a layup early in the third quarter against the Philadelphia 76ers.
The layup he scored brought the Denver Nuggets within one point of the lead, but it held more significance for Pickett as it set a new career high in points. The former Penn State star finished with 29 points, five rebounds and seven assists in 42 minutes during a 125-124 overtime win versus the 76ers on Monday.
