The Saquon Barkley Show is officially heading to the NFL. With the No. 2 pick of the first round, Barkley has been selected by the New York Giants.
Barkley, who became a father just days ahead of the NFL Draft, was widely recognized as the top overall player in the 2018 draft. Barkley left Penn State as one if the most decorated players in program history. In three seasons, he finished with the most career rushing touchdowns and placed second in career rushing yards, coming just 89 yards short of Evan Royster’s record. During his junior season, Barkley was recognized as the Big Ten’s Offensive Player of the Year, Running Back of the Year and Return Specialist of the Year.
