In Penn State’s first three games of the 2018 season, there’s been a different hero in each affair.

First it was senior outside hitter Nia Reed, who led the Nittany Lions to an opening night win over Eastern Kentucky.

Saturday morning it was freshmen Jonni Parker, Serena Gray and Kaitlyn Hord, who combined or 24 kills en route to Penn State’s dominating win over UMBC.
